Agreement on Cooperation with Wołów County Signed
Innovation, development, experience – under this slogan, a conference inaugurating the cooperation between the PORT Foundation of Polish Center for Technology Development and Wołów County took place. Its aim is to popularize science and new technologies among children and youth, as well as jointly implement projects in the fields of education, ecology, sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, and science.
Thanks to the established cooperation, students from Wołów County schools will have the opportunity to participate in programs offered by the PORT Center for Technological Education – Gardens of Experiences and learn through hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art laboratories.
During the conference, a lecture on optics and photonics was delivered by Dr. hab. Joanna Cybińska, Director of the Center for Materials Engineering at Łukasiewicz – PORT.
Wołów County was represented by County Prefect Janusz Dziarski and Deputy County Prefect Jarosław Iskra.
The honorary patronage over the event was taken by the Lower Silesian Education Curator. This is yet another collaboration with counties in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship established by the PORT Foundation! Thanks to the agreements concluded with Trzebnicki County and Średzki County, the educational offer of Łukasiewicz – PORT will also reach students from these regions.
